I hate Peter. Even more than I hate Rob. And I hate Rob and awful lot. I'd really like it if Peter and Rob became teammates and Sarah and Kimberly became teammates, and then Peter and Rob fell off a bridge and were both brutally maimed. Or I'd like for Sarah to kick Peter in the balls while he's being a dick with her metal leg. Or for someone to remove Peter's vocal cords so he will just shut the fuck up.
I like the beauty queens. And am growing to like them more and more. They're tougher than the look on the surface. And they're happy to use Peter when he's flirting with them (part of why I hate him), and then ditch him as soon as the opportunity arises. I would not be at all upset if they were the first female duo to win the race.
I also like the Cho brothers. I like the fact that they brought a fake cell phone on the race, and used it on a crowded train to psych out opponents. I especially like that Peter is the opponent that they were psyching out. I like their big hearts, although I hope it doesn't hurt them further on in the race. Because they allowed Lyn and Karlyn to call the shots during the detour, and went along with the choices the girls made. Even when the girls started out by making a stupid decision.
I like that Lyn and Karlyn called Peter on what a bullshit artist he is. Because if you haven't noticed, I hate Peter.
And I REALLY like how the Race is dealing with non-elimination legs this time around. You come in last on a non-elimination leg you get to keep your stuff, which means you can change your clothes so you won't be stinky, and you get to keep your money, so you don't have to go begging for spare change. BUT on the next leg of the race if you don't come in first you have a 1/2 hour penalty at the end of the race. It's a tangible penalty that can't be begged, borrowed, or stolen away. And it may doom David and Mary to elimination next week, because they are VERY far behind right now.
Tonight teams got to wrestle crocodiles, which seemed really damn cool And they had to drive in India, which seemed really damn crazy. Which further cements in my mind the fact that the race has once again found its groove.
