Closure, Please

Dear Jamie Moyer:

Don't know if you've heard the news or not, but you aren't a Mariner anymore.  You're a Phillie.  Have been since the middle of last season.

We here in Seattle still love you, in that you're a nice guy who has done a lot of good work for the community, and apparently still has some ties here, but we're moving on.  You should, too.

I forgave the businesses who continued to run the advertisements with you in them last season, because you were a Mariner at least PART of last season, and producing a new commercial can take some time.

But we're on to a new season now.  Not that you could tell from the Mariner's lack of playing thus far, but you need to go be a Philadelphian now.  The damn car wash commercials have got to stop.  Unless you refilm them with a Philies uniform on, but then that would just be stupid now, wouldn't it?

I loved Jamie. He was a Ranger many many moons ago, too. He sucked while he was here, though. Although, now that I think about it .. that is a trend. Play at Texas and stink, then go somewhere else and tear it up.
