Hedgehog is already starting to exhibit their personality, and it should surprise absolutely no one that the bit of personality Hedgehog has chosen to show is the stubborn/controlling side.

Last night the Hedgehog was kicking up a storm.  I suggested Sweetie could check it out for himself, so he put his hand on my belly.

Nothing.

Left his hand there for a while.  A big fat nothing the whole time.  So he gave up.

And the kid started kicking up a storm again.  And we tried the hand on the belly again.

And it all stopped.  There were a few "Oh, that might have been something" moments, but none of those of the unmistakable "oh yeah, that's the Hedgehog" type.

As soon as we gave up for the evening - a few more somersaults just to call things good.

So, quite obviously, the kid was being a smart ass and didn't want Dad to know what was going on.
