Today we got our Christmas tree. It was really the only time we have to do such a thing between now and Christmas.
This is not only Hedgehog's first tree (of course), but actually the first SwankPoet Christmas tree. Our condo in Redmond had no space for a tree, and we moved into this house two years ago (and had no living room furniture until January, so a tree seemed silly), and last year I was 6+ months pregnant and it just wasn't worth the energy involved.
I am now getting very, very, very excited about the holiday season.
